VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE-REDEMPTION
CHEATS

BACK

Cheats not only are helpful when you're stuck, but they're essential for a storyteller to cut down on the amount of work it takes to prepare a game. Below is a list of some cheats, along with info on how to enable the cheat.

To enable the cheat, you must first locate your Vampire shortcut. Once you do this, right-click on it and choose Properties from the pop-up menu. When the dialogue box comes up it shows a text area with the filepath to the Vampire.exe file. Look at this screenshot. See the highlighted area? Okay, outside of the quotation marks put in a space, then type in:

-console

Hit Apply then OK. Now, when you start the game from the shortcut, you can at anytime within the game enable the console by hitting the tilde (~) key. A blank area with a cursor will appear, and you can type in commands.

Here's a few commands to get you started.

addthing itemtyping in a template name (in place of the word item) will spawn the object at your feet. You can spawn anything, including weather and effects. Check your multiplayer Object, Actor, and Prop pane for some templates.
xp # A number here will add this much experience to the currently possessed character.
advancement This command will cause the advancement screen to appear.
vaultAccess your personal vault anywhere.
rename name Replace "name" with a name that you'd like a character to have (i.e. Tiffany instead of GothGirl). This will only work with non-player characters and only in Multiplayer mode.
stakeme Stakes the possessed character.
killme Kills the possessed character. Older information says that this is permanent and that the "revive" cheat won't bring the character back to life. I have found this not to be true.
reviveBrings a character back to life and full health. If the character is not dead, it fully heals them, and also cancels any cast disciplines.
god 1 (on)
god (off)
God mode. Is only relevant to the possessed character.
diseaseme Causes disease in the current character.
poisonme Poisons the current character.
addalldisciplines # Gives all disciplines up to the level specified (max is 5).
